Winter One Acts went out with a bang! A packed theatre and rave reviews, we are grateful to the Carl Cherry Center for the Arts! Karen also wants to thank Andi Wrede for her tremendous contributions as a Stage Manager and Mike Polyard as Assistant Director, both were invaluable to making the show run as smoothly as it did. Both are wildly inventive and creative and an essential part of the cast and crew. And the actors gave Tony winning performances. We all left the audience wanting more!

Soapbox Stageworks provides a sandbox for international, US, and local Playwrights to premiere theatrical work in collaboration with ‘Creatives’ from the Monterey Peninsula to exhibit truly dynamic theatre. 

Culminating into distinct and provocative theatre experiences, Soapbox Stageworks produces the final material for performance with local and guest talent.  We have created a world-class sustainable theatre that welcomes every corner of our community and invites all facets of collaboration.
