Playwright Opportunities

Opportunities to submit your  10-20 minute play for our Summer Sizzlers is open now!  We are looking for sexy, romantic, sizzler stories that leap off the page and onto the stage.

 

No scifi or musicals, there can be music in the play though. Please submit to soapboxstageworks@gmail.com Entry fee $15.00 to help offset our admin costs. You may pay via PayPal or Zelle.

 

We are a non profit theatre company looking to bring global voices together through theatre.

Soapbox Stageworks provides a sandbox for international, US, and local Playwrights to premiere theatrical work in collaboration with ‘Creatives’ from the Monterey Peninsula to exhibit truly dynamic theatre. 

Culminating into distinct and provocative theatre experiences, Soapbox Stageworks produces the final material for performance with local and guest talent.  We have created a world-class sustainable theatre that welcomes every corner of our community and invites all facets of collaboration.
